ANCIENT ARTIFACTS
A unique exhibition showcasing strange objects from the depths of time
that has been dug up only to remain anomalies stuck in some fringe realm of history, and should not even exist at all
AW Monument
DESCRIPTION
The monument shaped like the letters “AW” was uncovered in 2018 by archaeology student Lily Cadieux, near the quiet French village of Goussainville. Rising to an impressive height of ten meters, the stone structure immediately drew attention for both its unusual form and its remarkable state of preservation.
Radiocarbon dating carried out on site revealed that the monument is approximately 3,800 years old, placing it firmly within a period long before any known European civilization was believed to have constructed works of such scale and complexity.
OVERVIEW
According to Cadieux’s detailed sketches and illustrations, many researchers suggest that this monument may once have served as a ceremonial gateway or portal ornament, possibly marking the entrance to an ancient city — one belonging to a civilization now considered extinct and previously unknown to history.

The surface of the monument is densely covered with engravings of extraordinary precision. Upon closer examination, these carvings show striking parallels to the intricate symbols found on the enigmatic Prophecy Discs — one of which was discovered at the very same excavation site. The motifs depict hooded and masked figures with arms raised toward the heavens, alongside mysterious shapes that strongly resemble flying machines, frequently interpreted by modern scholars as early representations of drones.
Together, the scale, artistry, and symbolism of the monument suggest it was not merely decorative, but held profound cultural and possibly ritual significance for the people who created it.
